David is the Founder & CEO of Capify one of the first non-bank / online lenders in the world that was founded in the US in 2002 and started trading in the UK in 2008. David scaled Capify to over 225 employees, operating in 4 countries and sold the US business to a competitor in 2017.
Furthermore, he secured a £75 million credit facility with Goldman Sachs to fund Capify UK (www.capify.co.uk) and Capify Australia (www.capify.com.au) and has been operating in each of those markets for over 10 years.
David has 18+ years’ experience in the alternative business finance industry and has been featured throughout the years in various media outlets including The New York Times, Bloomberg TV Wall Street Journal, , Yahoo! Finance, Fox Business, Business Insider, and Sky Business regarding the small business alternative / online lending industry.
In 2008, when many small and medium businesses were struggling to navigate the global financial crisis, Capify became one of the UK’s first alternative SME finance companies providing accessible lending options.
With a focus on customer service and simplicity; our vision is to support businesses with tailored financial solutions which include a small business loan and a merchant cash advance.
Both these products, designed for the small businesses, are easy to access and repayments are typically made daily or weekly making it easier for the small business owner to manage their cash flow.
Over the past decade, we’ve helped an array of business owners to achieve their plans, from increasing their marketing or buying more stock, to investing in new equipment and completing major refurbishments.
