Voted the UKs top female influencer in 2019 by Global Woman, Fran Boorman is an award-winning entrepreneur, having built a multi million pound turnover business around her two young children, which became the fastest growing in its sector. She has gone on to support over 1000 individuals start their own enterprises and become a key spokesperson for Social Enterprise, women in enterprise, mentoring and sports business in the UK, representing their interests in government and the media. Fran is known for building enterprises to effect positive change, strategic commercial thinking and empowering women.
Fran authored an international bestselling book, she is a TEDx Speaker and a regular contributor on BBC Radio discussing business and news issues. Alongside her own business interests Fran serves as a Non-Executive Director in the hospitality sector. A regular keynote speaker, Fran has inspired audiences in excess of 4000 people.
In 2018 Fran launched a ground-breaking new enterprise, Goal 17, and took up the role of CEO. Goal 17 deliver a corporate mentor training which was recognised as the number one sports-led mentoring programme just 5 months after launching. Their flagship IMPACT programme delivers significant staff retention and engagement to corporate clients by developing a mentoring culture throughout their organisation. Theoretical learning is cemented with hands on experience of mentoring a homeless young person who is also participating in a football themed transformative academy with our charity partner, the Street Soccer Foundation and Premier Leauge Football Clubs.
