Umesh is a serial entrepreneur who has founded 4 startups in recent years. He is a freelance innovation consultant working with some of the largest companies in the world with clients including National Grid, Unilever, P&G, SXSW, Cushman & Wakefield, and Accenture, He has previously held positions as the CEO of Peel Foods, an exciting food startup creating Michelin star quality food for offices around London, CEO of Pace Ventures, an Innovation Consultancy that bridges the gap between the corporate and startup world and Co-Founder/COO at Edvent, an online training platform that transforms the student body of colleges and universities into highly employable young leaders.
He also helped launch Pi Labs, Europe’s first property-focused accelerator programme based in London as Programme Director and was integral in launching their first fund. Alongside running these startups, Umesh has mentored on a range of UK based accelerator and startup programmes such as Techstars, Mass Challenge, Virgin Startups, European Pioneers and The Accelerator Network.
