This session will look at the impact of COVID-19 on international trade and supply chains. Impacts are constantly evolving and the session will attempt to outline current impacts and possible future impact on businesses.

Kevin Shakespeare is experienced in all aspects of international trade. With a background in international trade services and finance Kevin has worked for a number of banks supporting UK exporters, and maximising supply chain operations. As a Director Kevin was responsible for managing sales and product teams across a range of trade operations and dealing with global businesses.
Degree qualified across several trade and business disciplines Kevin has also provided training and consultancy services for businesses trading internationally and government trade organisations. Author of a best-selling book ‘Trade for Good’, Kevin also lectures for Universities and provides support for global consultancy firms in international trade services and finance.
Locally Kevin has supported several SME companies in development of their supply chain operations supporting the SME’s to enter export markets.
As a Director of The Institute of Export and International Trade Kevin has been responsible for developing education and training programmes including innovative e-learning delivery to UK Government and businesses.
